Skin Mounts:
$7.00 per inch. I measure the total length of the fish from tip of the snout to tip of the tail.Minimum charge for skin mounts: $70.00
Many taxidermists charge much more. Don't fall for the "low price equals low quality" argument many of them use. The reputation I have built through 35 years of mounting fish speaks for itself. I always suggest people look around at various taxidermist's work, and then choose.
Replicas:
$11.00 per inch.Minimum charge for replicas: $110.00
Driftwood
is extra. I do not pick driftwood from lakeshores but rather use clean, dry pieces of Texas cedar.Small piece (panfish, smaller bass and trout): $9.00
Medium piece (fish in 20-28 inch range): $14.00
Large piece (pike, muskies): $20.00
I require a 50% deposit before I can begin work on your fish or order the replica blank. The balance (see SHIPPING details) is due upon completion.
I will send three monthly notices following completion of your fish. If for some reason, you cannot immediately forward the balance due, please just let me know and we’ll work something out. I want you to have your trophy, but at the same time I deserve to be paid for the service that I, in good faith, agreed to provide.
If other arrangements are not made, I will dispose of your item one month after the third notice. Deposits are not refundable.
All sales completed within the state of Wisconsin are subject to appropriate sales tax.
