I began mounting fish as a teenager growing up in west-central Wisconsin. My taxidermy helped with some of my college expenses, and I continued mounting fish after beginning my science teaching career in the Green Bay, Wisconsin area. I developed a line of hand-carved styrofoam fish forms for taxidermists, which I still produce on a limited basis, and also owned and operated a muskie lure manufacturing company for ten years before selling that and concentrating my free time on my fish work.

Over the past several years, I have averaged mounting 80-100 fish per year, with no advertising other than a few fish displayed in three sporting goods stores. Though the main region from which I have received fish through the years has been Wisconsin, I have mounted fish for customers throughout the Midwest and beyond. Now that I am retired from my teaching career, I am able to accept additional skin mount and replica work. I would be pleased to mount your trophy or complete a replica for you.
